Arrive at Baku – Panoramic Night Tour (PVT Basis)

Welcome to Azerbaijan – also known as “The Land of Fire”.

Upon arrival at the airport, pick up from airport and transfer to your hotel. Check in at hotel (standard time approx. 1400 hrs.)

Rest of the day at leisure.

Proceed to evening city view tour with car.
Visit to Highland Park-Alley of Martyrs, The National Assembly – also transliterated as Milli Majlis, Flame Towers – the tallest skyscraper in Baku.

Later you will visit Baku Crystal Hall – an indoor arena in Baku, Azerbaijan. Located on the coast of Baku near National Flag Square, construction of the arena began in August 2011 and finished in April 2012 – in time for it to host its first major event, the 2012 edition of the Eurovision Song Contest.

Walking through Baku Boulevard which stretches along a south-facing bay on the Caspian Sea. It traditionally starts at Freedom Square and continues west to the Old City and beyond. Since 2012, the Yeni Bulvar (New Boulevard) has virtually doubled the length to 3.75 km.

Baku City Tour (PVT Basis)

Proceed to Old City or Inner City – the historical core of Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. The Old City is the most ancient part of Baku, which is surrounded by walls that were well protected. In 2007, the Old City had a population of about 3000 people. In December 2000, the Old City of Baku, including the Palace of the Shirvanshahs and Maiden Tower, became the first location in Azerbaijan to be classified as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

After Old City guests will experience the happening street of Nizami Street known for shopping. The street’s history could be traced back to Baku’s town-planning project of 1864. The street runs through the city’s downtown from west to east. It begins from Abdulla Shaig Street, in the mountainous part of the city and ends at railroad bed on Sabit Orujov Street, near a monument to Shah Ismail Khatai in “Black City”. Total length of the street is 3,538 m.

Fountains Square is a public square in downtown Baku, capital of Azerbaijan. The square was previously called Parapet and is often referenced to by the same name now. The name of the Fountains Square derives from the presence of dozens of fountains throughout the square first constructed during Soviet rule of Azerbaijan. The square is a public gathering place, especially after business hours and during the weekend.

Visit to the charming example of modern architecture – The Heydar Aliyev Center – a 57,500 m² building complex in Baku, Azerbaijan designed by Iraqi-British architect Zaha Hadid and noted for its distinctive architecture and flowing, curved style that eschews sharp angles. The center is named after Heydar Aliyev, the first secretary of Soviet Azerbaijan from 1969 to 1982, and president of Azerbaijan Republic from October 1993 to October 2003. (Photoshoot outside only)

Baku – Gabala Excursion – Baku (PVT Basis)

Proceed to Gabala:

Excursion in: Tufandaq Winter-Summer Tourism Complex offers cable car rides at any time of the year, skiing on ski tracks of different difficulty levels, ski training and ski school, catering services (cafes and restaurants), entertainment centres for kids, hotel and other services.

Nohur Lake – Located in Qabala, another region of Azerbaijan that one passes when travelling to Sheki. Lake is not on the way but if you go a bit deeper towards the mountains, this beautiful view opens up in front of you.

Yeddi Gozel (Seven Beauties) Waterfalls – located 6 km from Vandam village and 3 km from the main track over Puskan. Water from various ravines forms a seven-step waterfall. Only two small waterfalls are visible below. To see the other five, you have to climb up the stairs which requires physical strength. A restaurant and tea house are also present. The waterfall is always dark and cool because it is located in a dense forest that is not affected by the sun’s rays.

Gobustan Tour (PVT Basis)

Proceed to Gobustan Tour:
Gobustan is best known for being the home to the famous rock petroglyphs. The area has been settled since the 8th millennium BC. It hosts thousands of rock engravings spread over 100 square km depicting hunting scenes, people, ships, constellations, and animals. The oldest petroglyphs date from the 12th century BC. In 2007, UNESCO included the ‘Gobustan Rock Art Cultural Landscape’ in the World Heritage list.

Absheron and Shopping Tour (PVT Basis)

Proceed to Absheron Tour:

  • Ateshgah (Fire Worshippers Temple): Based on Persian and Indian inscriptions, the temple was used as a Hindu and Zoroastrian place of worship. “Atash” is the Persian word for fire. The pentagonal complex has a courtyard surrounded by monk cells and a tetra pillar-altar in the middle, built during the 17th and 18th centuries.

  • Yanar Dag (Fire Mountain): Located 25 km north of Baku on the Absheron Peninsula. “Yanar Dag” means “Blazing Mountain.” This is a natural gas fire that blazes continuously on a hillside.

The Char Dham Yatra season typically runs from May to October. The best months are May-June and September-October when the weather is pleasant. The monsoon months (July-August) may see disruptions due to heavy rainfall and landslides.

Yes, all helicopter services are operated by DGCA-certified operators with experienced pilots who specialize in Himalayan flights. Safety checks and weather assessments are conducted before every flight. If weather conditions are unsafe, the flight is rescheduled.

In case of weather delays, the itinerary is adjusted accordingly. You may wait at the current location until the weather clears, or alternative road transfers may be arranged where feasible. Extra expenses due to weather delays (additional accommodation/meals) are borne by the traveler.

Absolutely! The helicopter package is specifically designed to eliminate strenuous trekking and long road journeys, making it ideal for senior citizens, children, and people with limited mobility. Pony/palki services are also included where walking is required.

Each passenger is allowed 5 kg of luggage on the helicopter. We provide complimentary aviation duffle bags during the briefing session. Your main luggage can be stored safely at the Dehradun hotel and collected upon return.
