Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Srinagar and proceed for local sightseeing

On arrival at Srinagar, you will meet our representative and proceed towards your hotel.

Srinagar is located in the heart of the Kashmir valley at an altitude of 1,730 m (1530 feet) above sea level, spread on both sides of the river Jhelum. The Dal and Nigin lakes enhance its picturesque setting, while the changing play of the seasons and the salubrious climate ensures that the city is equally attractive to visitors around the year.

After check-in, visit Mughal Gardens: Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh, and Cheshmashi Garden, Tulip Garden (April only) & Shankaracharya Temple. All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background.

En route visit a carpet-weaving factory.
Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 2: Srinagar to Sonamarg and return to Srinagar

After breakfast, leave for full-day excursion to Sonamarg, situated at an altitude of 9000 ft (84 Kms). It is also called “The Meadow of Gold”, with snowy mountains against a cerulean sky as its backdrop. The Sindh River that meanders through the valley abounds with trout and mahaseer.

Ponies can be hired for the trip up to Thajiwas Glacier, which is a major local attraction during the summer.
Return back to Srinagar for overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 3: Srinagar to Gulmarg and return to Srinagar

After breakfast, proceed towards Gulmarg. En-route enjoy scenic views of Tangmarg town, then a 14 km beautiful drive to Gulmarg.

Arrive in Gulmarg early afternoon. Begin a short tour, boarding the Gondola cable car system (8 minutes ropeway). Descend back and later indulge in horse-riding.
Return to Srinagar for overnight at the hotel.

Day 4: Srinagar to Pahalgam

After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam (7200 ft) – “Village of Shepherds” for overnight stay. (97 kms / approx. 2 hrs)

En-route visit:

  • Saffron fields (famous globally)

  • Awantipura ruins (9th Century)

  • Mattan Temple (Sun Temple)

Pahalgam is a base for Amarnath Yatra and is famous for its natural beauty, trekking routes, and Bollywood film shooting.

Overnight in the Hotel.

Day 5: In Pahalgam

After breakfast, day is at leisure or take optional local excursions in and around Pahalgam Valley:

  • Chandanwari (3288 m)

  • Betaab Valley (named after Bollywood movie “Betaab” shot here)

Drive back to the hotel.
Evening at leisure.
Overnight at your hotel.

Day 6: Pahalgam to Srinagar (Houseboat Stay)

After breakfast, drive to Srinagar. Check-in at Houseboat.

Evening Activity:
Enjoy 1-hour boat ride on Dal Lake by Shikara (gondola boat). Witness aquatic life, beautiful houseboats, and lake culture of Srinagar — known as “Venice of the East”.

Overnight at Houseboat.

Day 7: Departure from Srinagar

After breakfast, transfer to Srinagar Airport for your onward journey.

The Char Dham Yatra season typically runs from May to October. The best months are May-June and September-October when the weather is pleasant. The monsoon months (July-August) may see disruptions due to heavy rainfall and landslides.

Yes, all helicopter services are operated by DGCA-certified operators with experienced pilots who specialize in Himalayan flights. Safety checks and weather assessments are conducted before every flight. If weather conditions are unsafe, the flight is rescheduled.

In case of weather delays, the itinerary is adjusted accordingly. You may wait at the current location until the weather clears, or alternative road transfers may be arranged where feasible. Extra expenses due to weather delays (additional accommodation/meals) are borne by the traveler.

Absolutely! The helicopter package is specifically designed to eliminate strenuous trekking and long road journeys, making it ideal for senior citizens, children, and people with limited mobility. Pony/palki services are also included where walking is required.

Each passenger is allowed 5 kg of luggage on the helicopter. We provide complimentary aviation duffle bags during the briefing session. Your main luggage can be stored safely at the Dehradun hotel and collected upon return.
