Tour Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Varanasi

Hotel:Hotel – Placid/Rama Continental or similar in Prayagraj

Meals: Lunch and Dinner

  • Arrive at Varanasi airport (recommended before 13:30 hrs)

  • Meet and greet at the airport

  • Transfer to hotel, check-in, and freshen up

  • After lunch, at 4:00 PM transfer to the Ganges for boating and evening Ganga Aarti at Dashashwamedh Ghat

    • This is the main and most spectacular ghat in Varanasi, associated with two legends:

      • Lord Brahma created it to welcome Lord Shiva

      • Brahma sacrificed ten horses during Dasa-Ashwamedha Yajna here

  • Overnight stay in Varanasi

Day 2: Varanasi City Tour

  • Early morning temple darshan:

    • Kashi Vishwanath

    • Annapurna Mandir

    • Kala Bhairav Mandir

  • Visit Banaras Hindu University (BHU)

  • After breakfast, proceed to Sarnath:

  • Overnight stay in Prayagraj

Day 4: Prayagraj – Chitrakoot – Prayagraj (120 km / 3-4 hrs one way)

Distance: 120 km / 3-4 hrs one way

  • After breakfast, drive to Chitrakoot, “the hills of many wonders”

  • Located on the banks of River Mandakini in Banda District

    • Lord Rama, Sita, and Lakshman lived here for 11 years of their exile

    • Site of meetings with Sage Atri and Sati Anasuya

    • Goswami Tulsidas, author of Ramcharitmanas, spent time here

The Char Dham Yatra season typically runs from May to October. The best months are May-June and September-October when the weather is pleasant. The monsoon months (July-August) may see disruptions due to heavy rainfall and landslides.

Yes, all helicopter services are operated by DGCA-certified operators with experienced pilots who specialize in Himalayan flights. Safety checks and weather assessments are conducted before every flight. If weather conditions are unsafe, the flight is rescheduled.

In case of weather delays, the itinerary is adjusted accordingly. You may wait at the current location until the weather clears, or alternative road transfers may be arranged where feasible. Extra expenses due to weather delays (additional accommodation/meals) are borne by the traveler.

Absolutely! The helicopter package is specifically designed to eliminate strenuous trekking and long road journeys, making it ideal for senior citizens, children, and people with limited mobility. Pony/palki services are also included where walking is required.

Each passenger is allowed 5 kg of luggage on the helicopter. We provide complimentary aviation duffle bags during the briefing session. Your main luggage can be stored safely at the Dehradun hotel and collected upon return.
